BTS's Jimin Is A Successful Fan, Receiving Gift From "Barbie" Actor Ryan Gosling

BTS‘s Jimin has responded to actor Ryan Gosling‘s message.

Since behind-the-scenes photos from filming the live-action Barbie movie surfaced online, ARMYs noticed something familiar about Ken’s outfit. Canadian actor Ryan Gosling wore the same cowboy-style shirt that Jimin wore in the “Permission To Dance” music video!

Now that Barbie has finally premiered, Ryan Gosling shared a video message for Jimin via the film’s official social media accounts. He claimed that Jimin “wore it first, and definitely wore it best” and that due to an unofficial “Ken code,” he must now offer him his most prized possession — Ken’s guitar!

Hi, Jimin. It’s Ryan Gosling here. I noticed that your ‘Permission to Dance’ outfit was the same as my Ken outfit in the upcoming movie. I have to give it to you—you wore it first, you definitely wore it best. And there’s an unspoken Ken code that if you bite another Ken’s style, you have to give them your most prized possession. So, I hope you’ll accept Ken’s guitar as my humble offering. Besides, Ken doesn’t really play anyway, so it’ll be much better in your hands.

ARMYs were so excited to see that Ryan Gosling acknowledged Jimin, knowing that the K-Pop idol is a huge fan of the actor. Jimin’s favorite film is The Notebook, which stars Gosling.

Jimin responded to Ryan Gosling’s video message with his own video posted to his Instagram account. He promoted the new Barbie film while also thanking Gosling for the video and guitar. He captioned it, “Thanks for having my outfit in #BarbieTheMovie! You rocked it, Ken.”
