BTS’s Jimin And TXT’s Beomgyu Rocked The Same Hairstyle But Served Totally Different Vibes
BTS‘s Jimin and TXT‘s Beomgyu have a few things in common…
Obviously, they’re both members of two of the hottest K-Pop boy groups…
They’re even both under HYBE/BigHit Music!
Now, there’s one more thing…
They both rocked the same hairstyle!
Last night, BTS didn’t just steal the show; they owned it at the 2021 American Music Awards (AMAs)! They took home awards, “Favorite Pop Duo or Group,” “Favorite Pop Song,” and even became the first Asian artist to pick up the most anticipated “Artist of the Year“ award.
There was even a whole BTS concert as they performed their hit song “Butter” and their collaboration single with Coldplay “My Universe!”
Jimin arrived at the awards show with a new hairstyle, and ARMYs have been obsessed.

He’s been rocking the long, naturally dark hair for a while now. He previously revealed during a live broadcast that he’s been giving his hair a break due to damage.
While his hair is similar to before, this time, he added some blonde highlights! They’re likely just clip-ins so Jimin can continue to give his hair some rest.
It looks great on him, and it totally fits his classy yet rocker vibe for the evening. It pairs flawlessly with all of his fits, particularly his Louis Vuitton suit.
And the little streaks of blonde perfectly complement his all-yellow outfit for the “Butter” performance.
The slight edginess to it is beyond fitting for his “My Universe” outfit too. It’s giving “Mic Drop” vibes which we love!
So no matter what Jimin wore, the hairstyle looked good no matter what. Still, ARMYs couldn’t help but notice a similarity between this hairstyle and someone else’s…

Recently, TXT’s Beomgyu literally rocked with a very similar hairstyle. We’ve been seeing him a lot these days with his iconic wolf cut.
Like Jimin, he changed things up ever so slightly by adding blonde streaks to his long dark hair…
While Jimin’s hairstyle was debuted just in time for a prestigious American award show, Beomgyu introduced his new hairstyle for the “LO$ER=LO♡ER” era as TXT released The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE, repackage of The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE.
Clearly, the two have totally different vibes despite having an almost identical hairstyle. They certainly both stand out in a crowd. But while Jimin’s styling was for a fancy event, Beomgyu’s was for rocking out!
Jimin certainly had his own edgy fits, yet Beomgyu served an even edgier, more of a punk-rocker vibe… Jimin’s hairstyle is a bit shorter and styled in such a way that it reveals a bit of forehead. Beomgyu keeps his hair much longer and usually has his fringe in his face for a more emo look.
Of course, Jimin is rocking out in his own way too!
