Despite being released hours before his birthday, “Abyss” doesn’t contain Jin’s usual upbeat spirit. Instead, it shows a different side of him.
Wanting to only show his “good” side, Jin says he is often reluctant to express his negative emotions to fans. However, through this song, he decided to show a different, deeper side to himself through his music.
The song “Abyss” deals with issues that may be relatable to everyone at times, such as burnout, not feeling good enough, and more.
