BTS’s “Sold-Out King” Jin Strikes Again With “The Astronaut” Merch
BTS‘s “sold-out” king Jin stuck again!
Ever since ARMYs were first introduced to Jin’s new little astronaut character Wootteo, they anticipated the release of merchandise featuring him.
Sure enough, after the release of Jin’s solo single “The Astronaut,” HYBE MERCH announced that there would be a merchandise collection released that he helped design. Products include tableware, fairy lights, bath bombs, plushes, photocard holders, magnets, and matching hoodies and joggers.

Weverse Shop released the listing of products on Weverse Shop on November 30 at 11 AM (KST), and pre-orders officially began at 2 PM (KST).
As soon as it was available to purchase, two items specifically sold out in less than a minute. It was none other than the Wootteo doll cushion and hoodie.

At the time of writing, both the Wootteo body pillow and doll cushion are sold-out, as well as the matching hoodie and joggers. Some items sold out shortly after (less than ten minutes after release).
Many ARMYs faced disappointment while others were lucky enough to score the desired merch.

Still, thousands were dumbfounded by the shipping cost of the items. Weverse shoppers remain disappointed with the fees that outweigh the merchandise cost. Over the weekend, netizens expressed their frustration over the Black Friday “sale.” While Jin might help keep the merchandise cost reasonable, it seems like there’s no escaping the shipping fees.

I ordered in the Black Friday sale and I got a similar INSANE shipping. When I asked about it (twice) they said it was normal. I've ordered from global before and I've never been hit with a fee like that.
I only got stationary and scrunchies. No way that it was 175$ in shipping.

Regardless, Jin manages to sell out his merchandise every time. Previously, his “Artist-Made Collection” also sold out in record time.
