BTS's Jin Earns Attention For His Humble View On Endorsement Deals

BTS‘s Jin has been keeping ARMYs entertained with his appearances across multiple variety shows, and fans have loved every minute of it!

In his last activities before his military service, Jin strayed from BTS’s typical promotions by appearing on third-party variety shows. On Lee Young Ji‘s popular YouTube show My Alcohol Diary in October, he shared that HYBE has strict policies surrounding BTS’s promotions, including restrictions on filming with a third party.

To promote his solo debut single, “The Astronaut,” Jin was a special guest on multiple third-party programs and was able to show ARMYs even more of his loveable and funny personality.

Jin most recently premiered his new YouTube show, The Drunken Truth, where he made traditional Korean rice wine, makgeolli, with his friend, celebrity chef Baek Jong Won, and veteran alcohol artisan Park Rok Dam.

Two episodes have been released, and while it still has elements of comedy to be expected of BTS’s oldest member, it was also full of information about the process of making traditional Korean rice wine, as Korean families have for generations.

While fans were reacting to the show on Weverse, Jin joined in on the fun and responded to multiple fan posts on the social media platform.

Eagle-eyed fans shared photos from the recently released episodes of The Drunken Truth, and one fan noticed children’s toys in the background.

Jin shared that he plays with them when he bathes and jokingly asked advertisers for an opportunity to endorse them.

On the topic of endorsements, another ARMY posted that Jin was bound to get multiple endorsement deals, and Jin had a surprisingly heartwarming response.

Jin: “Making ARMYs happy is a higher priority for me than making money, so I honestly don’t accept endorsements often”

Instead of the money endorsements bring, Jin shared it’s more important to him to make ARMYs happy, and he’s doing just that by releasing content just for fans.

Jin warmed fans’ hearts with his thoughtful answer. Jin and the rest of the BTS members continue to prove that they always put ARMYs first.
