ARMYs Imagine BTS’s Jin In “Business Proposal,” And We’re Beyond Ready For His K-Drama Debut
Each week, it seems like netizens are falling in love with a brand new K-Drama. After the success of Squid Game, All of Us Are Dead, and Twenty Five Twenty One, the latest show to capture the hearts of fans is SBS‘s Business Proposal.
The series follows Shin Ha Ri (Kim Sejeong), who ends up going on a blind date pretending to be her friend. However, that blind date happens to be with the CEO of her company, Kang Tae Mu (Ahn Hyo Seop)! The troubles start when Tae Mu unexpectedly sets his eyes on marrying Ha Ri, still thinking that she is her friend.
Of course, alongside the amazing storyline, netizens are obsessed with the handsome male leads Ahn Hyo Seop and Kim Min Gue (also known as Kim MinKyu), who plays Kang Tae Mu’s best friend, Cha Sung Hoon.
Well, unsurprisingly, the rising popularity of the show means that netizens want to find a way to combine it with K-Pop, and that’s exactly what one netizen did with Business Proposal and BTS‘s Jin!
One user shared some edited pictures on social media that put BTS’s Jin on posters from Business Proposal as both Kang Tae Mu and Cha Sung Hoon. With his handsome visuals and undeniable class, he definitely didn’t seem out of place in the world of K-Dramas.
When the images were shared, netizens couldn’t get over how good the posters looked and wondered when BIGHIT MUSIC would finally allow Jin to have a proper role in a K-Drama.
Considering that Jin regularly radiates true CEO vibes, it isn’t surprising that netizens are just waiting for the day the group’s oldest member takes his place in a K-Drama.
In particular, Jin recently posted some pictures on Instagram and netizens couldn’t get over just how much Jin radiated true CEO vibes!
If Jin ever wanted a role in the series, it wouldn’t be too hard with the help of Jungkook. Jungkook shared that he was binge-watching Business Proposal and was already caught up with the entire series.
After posting his story on Instagram, the series’s producer shared a lengthy message to the idol thanking him for sharing his love for the show.
I love you, Jungkook-nim. It is such an honor. In one of the remaining episodes, there is actually a line that goes, “A hottie like Jungkook-ie.” Please don’t be surprised. Also, my production assistant-who is an ARMY-is the happiest person on set. I’ve never seen a smile so big and bright on their face until now and it’s all thanks to you, Jungkook. I appreciate that a lot.
Yet, it isn’t the first time netizens have wanted “Actor Jin.”
ARMYs have always known that Jin attended one of the most prestigious universities in South Korea, Konkuk University, and majored in the Department of Film and Visual Arts for his bachelor’s degree. Then, he continued his studies at Hanyang Cyber University and majored in Film for his master’s degree. Therefore, Jin is talented not only in singing and dancing but also in acting.
How #JIN got into Konkuk University with a Major in Acting
– He applied with 2,012 other applicants with a quota (the # of students they’re accepting) of 10 students only.
– 1st stage is free acting & he passed along with 100 other applicants.#WorldwideJINius @BTS_twt pic.twitter.com/dRBKzuNO7L— All for Jin (@jinnieslamp) February 21, 2019
With all of this, it seems crazy that Jin hasn’t had the chance to shine in a K-Drama. Hopefully, it happens sooner rather than later and someone will cast Jin in a CEO role to showcase his talent, visuals, and charism.
