Here’s How BTS’s Jin Scored The Rarest Autograph In The World From Coldplay’s Chris Martin

BTS and Coldplay go way back! They have some history together, not only collaborating on the mega hit “My Universe,” but Chris Martin also gifted the song “The Astronaut” to Jin.

Chris Martin has been very vocal about his respect for Korean culture, going out of his way to learn about it. Back in 2022, he showed that he knew about Korea’s age hierarchy culture while talking about the gifts he gave BTS. Chris Martin gifted Jin with a special guitar of his.

When the interviewer questioned the intentions behind it, Chris Martin explained that it was normal in Korean culture to pay extra respect to older people. Jin is the eldest in BTS, demonstrating Chris’ attention to Korean culture and the band.
