BTS’s Jin Said He Would Fill A Bathtub With Prize Money, Here’s What He Actually Spent It On
Last year, BTS guested on tvN’s You Quiz On The Block for the show’s 99th episode. In this 100-minute special, the members answered questions, played games, and won prize money.
After filming ended, Jin took home the cash he had received from host Jo Se Ho for correctly answering a quiz question.
“No one asked me for it,” Jin told fans, on Weverse, “so I took it all for myself.”
He joked about wanting to spend his ₩1 million won ($880 USD) winnings on something extravagant.

In reality, Jin found a more wholesome way to spend his prize money. He quietly donated the full prize amount to a dog rescue, Beagle Rescue Network. His money was used to buy these snacks for the dogs.
Beagles Rescue Network posted this certificate of appreciation, dated March 26th, 2021, just one day after Jin posted about his prize money on Weverse.
