BTS’s Jin Proves That Dreams Really Can Come True After The Recent Announcement About His Latest Model Deal
Since BTS debuted in 2013, it seems like they have truly been living the dream. From performing in huge venues to breaking records, the group has done it all.
Well, it seems like a recent announcement about BTS’s Jin and an upcoming collaboration truly proves that dreams come true.
On November 8, the popular instant noodle brand Ottogi hinted at a new collaboration for their famous “Jin Ramen.”
In the videos and teasers, the brand teased the upcoming collaboration, and the caption, which featured a purple heart, made ARMYs believe it had to be with Jin.
After the story was posted, Korean outlets seemingly confirmed the news after announcing that Jin had officially become a model for Ottogi’s “Jin Ramen.”
Yet, although Jin has made history by becoming the first BTS member to individually be the “face” of a big brand, following Baek Jong Won and actor Nam Goong Min…
It seems like the group’s oldest member has achieved one of his dreams. After the news was released, ARMYs shared old clips from the idol where Jin revealed that he had always wanted to model for the aptly named “Jin Ramen.”
Last month, Jin might have also hinted at the collaboration. In a now-deleted post, Jin also replied to one ARMY, talking about a wish he’s had since debut. According to his reply, Jin has always wanted to film a commercial for the same-name ramen brand.
My wish after debuting was filming a Jin Ramen commercial..

Along with the Weverse post, Jin has been vocal about his desire to work with the brand during live broadcasts from years ago.
During one broadcast with some of the other members, the group as eating ramen when Jin expressed his desire to model for the brand one day.
I’m glad the ramen uses my name, I’ll model for them someday. It’s my dream.
— Jin
In another solo broadcast, Jin shared his love for the brand in what seemed like a perfect advertisement for the brand. Even years ago, Jin was already preparing for his dream role to promote the brand.
There is no doubt that Jin will be the perfect model for the brand, and it wouldn’t be surprising if the ramen’s popularity increases even more after the announcement. It will be interesting to see how Jin adapts to the role, but hopefully, he gets a lot of free products after spending years advertising the brand for free.
