BTS’s Jungkook Teases That “Actor Jin” Might Be Coming
BTS recently released their behind-the-scenes of the music video shooting for “Yet To Come.”
And while they certainly struggled to film in the desert, with the wind constantly blowing the sand into their eyes…
Several members seemed excited that they were filming in the desert since it was also where part of the blockbuster movie Dune was filmed.
Dune is a science fiction movie directed by Denis Villeneuve. Based on a novel by the same name, the story follows an intergalactic war over the galaxy’s most valuable asset, detailing a hero’s journey to save the galaxy.
And BTS are certainly fans of the film since they continually brought up their filming location being at the same place as Dune.
But beyond just recommending the movie to fans, Jungkook specifically may have given hope that ARMY will get to see actor Jin someday soon.
Fans have been hoping to see Jin acting for a long time since the idol himself continually voices his desire to act.

And with his incredible performances in BTS’s content, there’s no denying that Jin would make an excellent actor.

But ARMY aren’t the only ones continually voicing their support of actor Jin. When Jin brought up filming in the same location as Dune…
J-Hope: We came all the way to Las Vegas to shoot this MV.
Jin: I heard they filmed a really famous movie here.
J-Hope: Which one?
Jin: Dune.
Suga: They shot a lot of scenes here.
Jungkook doesn’t hesitate before adding that actor Jin should also “shoot a movie here someday too.”
Jungkook: Jin should shoot a movie here someday too!
So J-Hope jokingly combines “Dune” and “Jin” to “create” the title of Jin’s future movie.
J-Hope: The title, “Jan.”
Hopefully, with BTS taking time to pursue solo projects, Jin’s acting debut may be in the near future!
