BTS Jin’s “Moon” Becomes The Longest-Charting BTS Solo Track On Melon
With a message of love for ARMY and the heavenly vocals of BTS‘s Jin, the solo track “Moon” has found a special place in millions of hearts around the world, and with all that love, it’s set a brand new record on Melon!
The sweet song, from BTS’s MAP OF THE SOUL: 7 and made by Jin, has spent an incredible 225 days (and counting) on the Melon Top 100 chart and has become the longest-charting BTS solo track on Melon! What’s more, the track has never left the chart since release and has spent more than 30 weeks on the Top 100 chart.
Having achieved this new record when it had officially spent 222 days on the chart, ARMY everywhere celebrated the amazing news by trending the hashtags #EverlastingMoon and #ChartsKingSeokjin.

This new achievement, however, is just the latest in a long line of records set by Jin and “Moon”. Just after release, the track ranked no. 1 in 80 countries on the iTunes chart while Jin also ranked no. 1 for the Korean artist with the most global iTunes b-side solo tracks as well as no. 4 for Korean solo artist with the most number-one titles on global iTunes.
Furthermore, a few months ago “Moon” also became the highest-ranking BTS song on Billboard‘s World Digital Song Sales chart.
Now, Jin and “Moon” have claimed another incredibly impressive record! Congratulations!
