Still, some of the members had recently been recuperating yet showed up to the event looked better than ever! Jungkook and J-Hope just concluded quarantine, recovering from COVID-19. On the other hand, Jin recently underwent surgery.
Previously, BIGHIT MUSIC released an official statement in English via Weverse regarding Jin’s condition. He had suffered an injury to his left index finger and had surgery.
Hello.
This is BIGHIT MUSIC.
We would like to provide you with some information regarding BTS member Jin’s finger injury.
Jin injured his left index finger during his daily activities and visited the emergency room at a hospital nearby for examination and treatment on Friday, March 18. He consulted doctors and was told he required surgery as the tendons in the finger had been partially damaged. He underwent surgery to repair the extensor in his left index finger on the afternoon of Friday, March 18.
The surgery went well according to the doctors. Jin was discharged from the hospital on the morning of Saturday, March 19 and has been resting. He will wear a cast for the time being for stabilization and a speedy recovery.
Jin will focus on rest and treatment to fully recover from the injury and to resume his activities in good health.
We will continue to provide support for the rapid recovery of Jin, placing our highest priority on the health and safety of our artists.
Thank you.

BIGHIT MUSIC reassured ARMYs that he was well and could continue his schedule after some days of rest. So, he went to Las Vegas, Nevada, ahead of The 2022 GRAMMY Awards and the upcoming PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE concerts.
When the members arrived on the red carpet for The 2022 GRAMMY Awards, Jin was still in a cast. So, he attempted to keep it hidden most of the time, and the members were conscientious about his condition and frequently checked to make sure he was okay and not getting hit.

Jin wore a white cast with his brown Louis Vuitton suit for the carpet but covered it in black for the “Butter” performance to fit the secret agent concept.

ARMYs were extra impressed with Jin’s performance. He maturely set a limit, knowing he needed to be careful in his recovery. Yet, he delivered just as extraordinary performance as ever before, proving he is a true professional!
The boys were all amazing but wanna take a moment to appreciate Seokjin a little extra bc he was so careful with his hand the whole time, but he still did the choreography flawlessly. He’s such a professional. Hope he heals quickly. 🥺
