K-ARMY Makes Donation In Honor Of Jin's "Tonight" And His Pets

Korean ARMYs have made a generous donation for their favorite animal lover, Jin.

On June 5, at the stroke of midnight (KST), Jin released “Tonight” as part of BTS’s 2019 Festa. In the song’s introductory message, Jin said that he wrote “Tonight” while thinking of his pets who have passed away. Back in March, Jin told ARMY that he had recently lost his beloved sugar glider, Odeng.

The story behind “Tonight” touched fans’ hearts, especially fans who are missing their own furbabies. ARMYs all over the world have shown love for “Tonight” through hashtags like “#PetsForJin”, fan art, personal stories, and more.

K-ARMYs thanked Jin by donating 204kg of pet food to Korean Animal Welfare Association (KARA), a charity that Jin supports. Last year, Jin donated 322kg of pet food to KARA for his 26th birthday.

On June 5, K-ARMYs tweeted out the donation certificate and a heartfelt message. “We hope that “Tonight” by Seokjin, which portrays the love Seokjin has for animals, makes June 5th a little bit warmer.”

In commemoration of Seokjin’s self-written song, “Tonight”, we banded with @bemyjin_1204 @95z12 @ksjinnnnnnnnn to donate 204 kg of animal feed to the animal rights organization, KARA, which Seokjin also donated to himself. We hope that “Tonight” by Seokjin, which portrays the love Seokjin has for animals, makes June 5th a little bit warmer.
