An Unexpected Update Ahead Of BTS Jin’s Military Discharge
An unexpected update ahead of BTS Jin‘s military discharge has ARMYs emotional.
Jin was the first member of BTS to enlist all the way in December 2022.
Luckily, Jin has kept fans updated, whether it was through videos, on Instagram, Weverse, or by attending the other members’ enlistment ceremonies.

With less than a month to go, netizens have had the most unexpected update ahead of discharge… from Wootteo. Back in October 2022, the Instagram account for Wootteo was discovered by ARMYs and was the perfect character to be released ahead of Jin’s solo track.
On May 28, netizens were shocked when Wootteo’s Instagram was updated with an adorable picture and the caption, “It’s been a really long time. How is everyone doing?”
Of course, netizens were obsessed with the update, signaling that Jin’s return was closer than we could ever hope. Yet, considering Wootteo’s lengthy hiatus, it wasn’t surprising that netizens were “angry” at him for not keeping his promise and keeping ARMYs company during Jin’s enlistment.
Others looked more deeply into the update and with links to Coldplay, many think that Wootteo might actually be giving ARMYs a hint about what to expect from Jin when he returns from the military.
"girl weren't wootteo supposed to take care of us when jin's gone?" he's literally hustling to fund ksj1 once hes free cut some slack to my hardworking son!

Coincidence? Or something is coming?
As Coldplay continues to tease #Moonmusic and brought wootteo to their “new tour”, wootteo comes back home with new graphic for d-15, looking as he’s giving a flying kiss almost just like the wootteo in Chris Martin’s shirt yesterday, plus… pic.twitter.com/o7O1h9XTwR

Jin’s enlistment seems like years ago, but this update cements that Worldwide Handsome is ready to make his return sooner rather than later.
