When Jungkook Broke Twitter, William Shatner Needed Answers…And He Got Them
BTS‘s Jungkook left one veteran star very confused…and intrigued.
On September 1, ARMY launched celebrations all over the world and on social media, in honor of Jungkook’s 22nd birthday. This massive influx in Twitter traffic caused delays on the site.
Canadian actor William Shatner, famous for playing Captain Kirk on Star Trek, wanted to know what was happening.
Little did he know that this tweet would launch him out of planet earth and into the BTS universe!

ARMYs flooded William Shatner’s Twitter with news of Jungkook’s birthday. In response, William Shatner wished Jungkook a happy birthday, but he had some doubts about it causing the crash.
Happy Birthday to Jungkook but I don’t think that was the reason. https://t.co/v9N12wjUS5

Fans were quick to inform him that crashing websites is just another day in the life for BTS.
The more ARMY commented, the more interested William Shatner became.
These comments are adorable. I assume Army is a Fan Club? 🐰💜 to you as well! https://t.co/W0c6fJWgEg

At first, he was skeptical about the Golden Maknae’s “power”…

I tweeted too soon. Just saw this. Very admirable! https://t.co/0wFbMi6y1b
