BTS Jungkook’s Live Stage With Charlie Puth Is A Dream Come True
After years of hoping and wishing, BTS fans finally got to witness Jungkook performing with Charlie Puth, one of his all-time favourite singers.
These two vocal sensations shared the stage at the 2018 MGA (MBC Plus X Genie Music Awards), on November 6, to sing Charlie Puth’s “We Don’t Talk Anymore”.
Ever since Jungkook dropped his cover of “We Don’t Talk Anymore” in early 2017, ARMY has been dreaming of this collaboration. Prior to “We Don’t Talk Anymore”, Jungkook also covered another Charlie Puth hit, “See You Again”, which Charlie Puth performed solo at MGA.
This landmark performance is sure to go down in music history and live on in the hearts of fans everywhere.
During the short interlude after “See You Again”, Jungkook and Charlie Puth both shared what this moment means to them.
Jungkook said that if he hadn’t covered Charlie Puth’s song, this dream stage may have never become a reality. He expressed admiration for Charlie Puth as an artist, couldn’t have been happier to perform with him.
When Jungkook asked Charlie Puth how he felt about the stage, Charlie called it “insane”. He said that he’s never experienced anything like this before, and also thanked Jungkook for having him there.
After this interlude, Jungkook and Charlie Puth joined the rest of BTS to sing a new keyboard rendition of BTS’s “FAKE LOVE”.
