The day, name “Jungkook Day” or “JK Day,” dates back to 2018. In BTS’s Seasons Greetings 2018 calendar, Jungkook marked January 9th as “Jungkook Day.”
He also wrote a specific message for ARMY to explain what they should do on this special day.

He chose this day (1/9) because it is the opposite of his birthday, September 1st (also known as 9/1).
