BTS Jungkook House’s Value Jumps By Two Million USD In Less Than Four Years

He purchased the house in 2020.

It was recently revealed by Herald Corp that BTS Jungkook‘s house has increased in value to about ₩10.0 billion KRW (about $7.52 million USD) in less than four years. He previously purchased a house located in Itaewon, Seoul, in December 2020. Back then, it was worth ₩7.63 billion KRW (about $5.74 million USD). He demolished the house and received a construction permit in 2021 to build a new building with two basement floors and three above-ground floors.

As od 2024, the house is said to be in the final stages of construction. It is unsure if Jungkook is building the house for investment or to live in. The current asking price for the property is at least ₩8.00 billion KRW (about $6.02 million USD) and can go up to ₩10.0 billion KRW (about $7.52 million USD), according to a representative of Anbu Real Estate Brokerage, a brokerage for properties in the Itaewon area. It is said that the location is known for being home to business tycoons. Property in that area is also hard to come by, so people looking for single-family homes in Itaewon are often watching the area like a hawk and are willing to pay a high price.

Jungkook’s property is located in a prime area, within 10 minutes by foot from both Itaewon and Noksapyeong stations. The surrounding area is also known as the “Korean Beverly Hills,” with various embassies and luxury houses around. It is also in close proximity to international schools and Hannam-dong, where many prestigious families live, including South Korean chaebols.
