"JJK1" Is Coming? BTS Fans Find A New "Hint" For Jungkook's Mixtape

A new BTS mixtape is expected in 2021, but the question is: whose will it be? V and Jungkook are both working on solo music for their respective mixtapes, nicknamed “KTH1” and “JJK1”.

Lately, several “hints” have been getting ARMYs excited for Jungkook’s mixtape. For one, idols often dye their hair before a comeback, and Jungkook recently debuted his new blonde locks at the 2021 Golden Disc Awards.

Then, just a few days ago, Jungkook’s profile photo changed on Apple Music. The new photo shows his side profile as V plays violin in the background.

Why is this change with noticing? Last year, Suga‘s profile photo changed just before he dropped his D-2 mixtape as Agust D.

Now, fans have noticed another change. In addition to his profile photo, Jungkook’s artist bio has been updated. It was written by Neil Z. Yeung, who also wrote artist bios for BTS’s rap line (J-Hope, Suga, and RM). All three members have released solo mixtapes.

Is it time to start counting down the days to JJK1…or time to put on clown makeup again? We’ll find out soon enough!
