BTS’s Jungkook Is Now Officially A “Lord” Because Of Famous Filipina Actress Arci Muñoz
BTS‘s Jungkook has many nicknames from “Golden maknae,” “JK,” and “Kookie.” However, it seems as if Jungkook might have just earned himself a brand new and more official title: Lord Jeon Jungkook!”
In a recent post on Instagram, the famous Filipina Actress and singer, Arci Muñoz, posted that she had bought a piece of land in Scotland to celebrate Jungkook’s birthday under the maknae’s name.
She posted a picture next to a Kookie statue along with the certificates detailing the purchase and the caption, “To: Lord #jeonjungkook It’s better late than never!!! Happy birthday! Ya now a lord and ya own a piece of #scotland #bts 💜😊 #army“
The certificates show that Arci bought a 1 square foot located on Highland Titles Nature Reserve as part of a fundraiser for nature reserves of Scotland. Although this might not seem like a big thing on the surface, it actually earned Jungkook the new title of “Lord” Jeon Jungkook.
Although it might seem unbelievable, it is actually quite common. The Reserve actually allows customers to purchase a souvenir plot of land on a Scottish Highland estate. Doing this legally allows owners to use the courtesy title of laird (landowner), lord, or lady.
“Laird” is a means “landowner,” with no other rights assigned to it. Unfortunately, it means that Jungkook doesn’t have any special privileges, like the honor of sitting in the House of Lords, but he does have a new title!
Yet, it isn’t the first time Arci has done something for BTS. Last year, she bought some land in the Philippines and named it after the idol!
Yet, Jungkook is not the only idol who has been bestowed the honor of a lordship by fans. In 2018, HIGHLIGHT was gifted one by a fansite manager who created a project and bought land in Glen Coe, Scotland, in the group’s name.
There is no denying that Jungkook has always had the sophistication, grace, and visuals of a Lord! Now, he has the official title to match!
