BTS’s Jungkook Calls Junior Group His Seniors In Adorable Mix-Up

Fans found it hilarious!

BTS’s Jungkook recently surprised ARMYs with an unexpected live broadcast via Weverse for the first time since his mandatory military enlistment.

Jungkook spent some of his break with ARMYs because he missed them. He gave them life updates before singing some karaoke.

Jungkook took some song requests and sang a variety selected by ARMYs. He sang some of his own hit songs, as well as others’, such as BLACKPINK Rosé and Bruno Mars’ “APT” and ILLIT’s hit song, “Magnetic.”

Another artist who got a shoutout was JYP Entertainment band DAY6, as a viewer asked Jungkook to sing their songs “You Were Beautiful” and “HAPPY.”

Jungkook claimed he could not sing DAY6’s songs because they were “too high,” though.

Yet, one moment still amused fans, as Jungkook referred to DAY6 as “sunbaenim.” He forgot that BTS had actually debuted over 2 years before DAY6. While BTS debuted on June 13, 2013, DAY6 debuted on September 7, 2015.

MyDays (DAY6 fans) credit Jungkook’s mistake to the DAY6 members’ “uncle energies.” All members are younger than BTS’s older member, Jin, but most are 30 or older (the maknae, Dowoon, turns 30 next year, though).

It was a cute mistake on Jungkook’s part, and fans can’t blame him!
