BTS’s Jungkook Reassures Fans About His Condition On Instagram After Testing Positive For COVID-19
On March 29, BIGHIT MUSIC announced that BTS’s Jungkook had tested positive for COVID-19. Although he was negative with a PCR test in Korea, he tested positive after taking a test in Las Vegas. Below is the official English statement released through Weverse.
In the official English statement released through Weverse, they explained that when he arrived in Las Vegas, he felt some symptoms and tested positive after doing another PCR test.
After arriving in Las Vegas, he felt a slight discomfort in his throat and promptly took a rapid PCR test (COVID-19 molecular PCR test) and a standard PCR test (COVID-19 quantitative PCR test) on the afternoon of Sunday, March 27 (PT).
While being under self-quarantine as a proactive measure, the result of both tests came back positive, and Jung Kook was confirmed with COVID-19 on Monday, March 28 (PT).
