BTS Jungkook’s “Scary” Experience When Arriving At Incheon Airport Raises Concerns For Idols’ Safety
Netizens have shared their concerns after the “scary” situation BTS‘s Jungkook faced at Incheon Airport.
On July 24 (KST), Jungkook arrived back from his overseas schedules when promoting his new song “Seven.” As expected, the idol looked very handsome and showcased his unique style upon arrival.
While the photos showcased Jungkook being handsome but also showcasing his manners when greeting those who had waited for him, the reality was much more chaotic.
As expected, Jungkook entering the main airport was controlled as there were barriers between the idol and fans. It allowed Jungkook to greet those who were waiting for him calmly.
Sadly, this calm didn’t last long, and as Jungkook started walking towards the exit and the barriers went, crowds of fans started pushing to get a closer glance at Jungkook.
While the security tried their best to keep Jungkook safe, the crowds became more intense. Jungkook even tried to get fans to move back for their own safety.
In particular, while the bodyguards tried their best, it seemed like the crowds became too much.
At one moment, Jungkook seemed taken aback when a cameraman from a Korean news outlet almost fell into the idol because the crowds were so busy. While Jungkook only seemed momentarily shaken by the event, it would definitely have impacted him.
Despite the crowds, Jungkook continued to greet those waiting as he walked through the airport.
Even as he got outside, and almost fell again because of the crowds…
Jungkook continued to greet fans up until the moment he got into his car.
When the videos were posted, netizens shared their worry for Jungkook and other idols. Although it is common for many to want to see Jungkook on his return, many believed it was unsafe, and Jungkook could’ve been put in even worse harm if the security hadn’t been around him.
Twt still not letting me post any pics or videos, but honestly, after how people mob Jungkook at the airport, the fact he still loves us and stops and waves (literally stuck his head out the car as it drove to be sure fans saw him) shows how amazingly sweet he is.

The bodyguards and security personnel really should improve their performances. This is getting ridiculously dangerous for everyone concerned and affected 😟
Welcome back, Jungkook https://t.co/8buxSxtinf

Jungkook's wish to see and treat army as friends is an utopia, and he of course knows it. Unfortunately, army is this (see below👇) too. I don't object to people wanting to see the idols at the airport, as long as they respect the security cordons, greet them from that area and… https://t.co/IXgam64HF8 pic.twitter.com/lHiTzbXPGj

The topic of airport safety has been a big debate amongst netizens after recent experiences of idols. While the airport is public and it’s common for fans to want to see their favorite artists, it is becoming unsafe for both the idols and those waiting, along with the people using the airport for their own business.
