BTS’s “Sold Out King” Jungkook Starts A New Fashion Craze
BTS‘s Jungkook has a history of selling out everything from laundry soap to luxury clothes with his star power. Now a new craze is happening in Qatar, thanks to the Golden Maknae with the golden touch!
Last month, Jungkook flew to Qatar to perform at the 2022 FIFA World Cup opening ceremony. He sang “Dreamers,” his track on the 2022 FIFA World Cup official soundtrack, with Qatari singer Fahad Al Kubaisi.
ARMYs around the globe tuned in to watch Jungkook’s historic performance, but he charmed the general public too. Some viewers even compared this all-rounder to the King of Pop, Michael Jackson.
Jungkook’s presence also contributed to a surge in popularity abroad for South Korea’s national soccer team in various way. “Player 9” Cho Gue Sung, for instance, has gone viral online among K-Pop fans.

According to South Korean YouTuber Youngal Nam, the uniform for South Korea’s team has now sold out in Qatar, largely because Jungkook wore it.
