What BTS’s Jungkook Would Be Doing If He Wasn’t A K-Pop Idol

He still plans to possibly pursue it in the future.

BTS‘s Jungkook recently released his debut solo album, GOLDEN, and to celebrate, he sat down for an exclusive interview with New Zealand radio personality Zane Lowe for Apple Music.

Together, they discussed everything from Jungkook’s childhood in Busan to his massive success with BTS, his expectations for his solo career, and more.

Sitting on the 19th floor of the HYBE building, overlooking Seoul, Zane Lowe asked the BTS maknae if he now considers South Korea’s capital as his home, after moving to Seoul from Busan to become a trainee.

Jungkook recalled the lower buildings in Busan, and how the skyline of Seoul seemed like something out of the future when he first moved there.

Zane Lowe pointed out the unique and beautiful blend of traditional architecture with modern buildings, all set within surrounding mountains.

Jungkook understood the fascination, relating to the experience, saying he often admires architecture when traveling abroad.

Zane Lowe noticed that Jungkook seemed to have a keen eye for design, and Jungkook agreed with the observation.

Jungkook answered that, if he had gone into that field, he could see himself “possibly going into design or drawing.” He added that he could also see himself getting into sports.

The BTS maknae explained that he’s enjoyed drawing since he was younger and intends to study drawing, stating that he has a “weak spot for creative work.

Although he’s one of the world’s biggest musical acts with his fellow members, he’s keeping his future options open to explore other creative ventures.

During his interview with Zane Lowe, Jungkook named the album that made him fall in love with music. Check out more on that in the article below!
