Locals Confused After Las Vegas Officially Turns Purple For BTS’s “PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE” Shows
When it was announced in February that BTS would be returning to America for their PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE shows in Las Vegas, ARMYs were excited AF. In particular, when it was revealed that the group would be holding four in-person concerts in Las Vegas, Nevada, in April at Allegiant Stadium, things couldn’t be more exciting.
Well, that was until BIGHIT MUSIC announced the “Borahaefication” of Las Vegas. Whether it was holding special events throughout the city…
Or signs across the city promoting the upcoming PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE shows or the BTS-themed rooms in MGM resorts with special keepsakes…
And even the fact that Las Vegas LITERALLY turned purple with the hotels and attractions in the city turning the iconic BTS color to showcase support for the group.

However, it seems as if the “Borahaefication” of Las Vegas has only gotten more elaborate and obvious during the past few hours. Not only are there literally hundreds of signs across the city with the words, “BORAHAEGAS” at every corner you look…

Or the fact that the Bellagio has started running their BTS shows with the world-renowned Bellagio fountains moving to the beat of iconic tracks, including “Dynamite.”

Of course, with Las Vegas literally turning purple for the BTS concerts, it isn’t surprising that people who aren’t ARMYs might be a little confused seeing the famous city transform itself for the group. In particular, locals (those who aren’t K-Pop or BTS fans) must have seemed very confused by the sudden explosion of purple and BTS.
love thinking about the vegas tourists and locals asking “whts with all the purple” and hearing “bts is in town” like thats so iconic, a whole city changing color just for them.

In particular, even ARMYs have shared experiences of locals coming up to them and being very confused by the sudden change in the city.
Just finished BTS bellagio fountain and this drunk person next to me just said ”wow that was so good i really wanna see them in person” (but imagine very slurred) and i said they’re in town. she looked at her bf and started demanding tickets as she walked off. 😭😭

Even those ARMYs who live in Las Vegas couldn’t get over the grand scale of everything happening in the city and the fact they pulled out all of the stops to welcome BTS and ARMYs for the concerts.
as vegas local, i can absolutely tell you they don’t do this to everyone who has a concert here pic.twitter.com/u80B3VCEPs

With just over 12 hours until the first show, there is no denying that Las Vegas has made ARMYs even more excited than possible for the upcoming shows. The amount of effort and magic they’ve done to the city for BTS showcases just how influential the group is and the love and respect they have.
