BTS Is Ready To Enter The Latin Market, According To RM

We’re ready for it!

BTS may be a group of entirely Korean members, but with their fame worldwide, they are always inclusive of international fans.

They have released music in English, including hits such as “Butter,” “Dynamite,” and “Permission to Dance.”

BTS have also released Japanese albums.

The group has incorporated sign language in the choreography for “Permission to Dance.”

Now, BTS are ready to incorporate Spanish into their lyrics!

Previously, BTS’s J-Hope released “Chicken Noodle Soup” with Becky G, incorporating English, Korean, and Spanish in the lyrics.

All seven members of BTS ended up performing “Chicken Noodle Soup” at 2021 MUSTER SOWOOZOO, proving their multilingual skills.

In a new behind-the-scenes clip from the 2021 MUSTER SOWOOZOO DVD,  J-Hope talked about the performance and was asked about the members who he felt did the best. He initially wanted to choose everyone but ultimately made a choice, selecting RM and Jimin since they had Spanish lyrics.

Everyone worked so hard, but I’ll choose Namjoon and Jimin for taking on Spanish lyrics.

RM accepted the compliment. He proposed that the group enter the Latin music market as they have now had experience performing in Spanish.

We’re ready to enter that market. We’ve perfected Spanish.

ARMYs have been hoping that BTS might at least collaborate with Latin artists, particularly Bad Bunny and Jennifer Lopez. RM also had recently told Entertainment Weekly that the group is open to releasing music in “any language.”

We’re open to anything… Maybe when it’s time, I think we’ll be able to release another song in English or Korean or Spanish — or any language.
