BTS Gets A Shoutout From Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda
If you’re a BTS fan and a Linkin Park fan, prepare yourself. Your worlds are about to collide!
In American music, Linkin Park is considered a pioneer in cross-genre alternative rock, having blended heavy metal, rock, and hip-hop, especially in their early days. Although the band has been around for decades, their popularity skyrocketed in the early to mid-2000s.
For many fans, Linkin Park’s music was part of their grade school and/or high school experience, and not just in the west. Jungkook loved Linkin Park back in BTS‘s rookie days.
Here he is, lip-syncing to “Given Up”, feat. V on air guitar…
…and their audience.
The clip, taken from a classic “Bangtan Bomb” YouTube video recently caught the attention of Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda.
He retweeted this clip, uniting BTS’s ARMY and Linkin Park’s soldiers.
