BTS Marries Safety With Good Manners At The UN General Assembly
Whether they’re on stage performing for fans or giving a speech at the United Nations Headquarters, BTS are all about good manners!
Today, BTS made us emotional when they stepped up to the podium at the 76th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). Here, they shone light on today’s “welcome generation” that is growing up during the COVID-19 pandemic.
With social distancing measures in place, the rules of etiquette have changed. Even so, BTS didn’t let that stop them from being both friendly and polite to the officials they met at UNGA.
Instead of giving hugs or handshakes, BTS bumped elbows and forearms with UN Deputy Secretary-General Amina J.Mohammed, and others…
…who went out of their way to greet them. Masks couldn’t hide the bright smiles that reached the members’ eyes!
BTS also posed for photos (from a safe distance, of course).
THEY TOOK PHOTOS LIKE LIKE WORLD LEADERS USUALLY TAKE PHOTOS AAKKK
