BTS Have Very Different Approaches To An “Ending Fairy” Competition During “Music Bank”
There were a lot of exciting things that ARMYs were treated to after BTS made a comeback with their newest album PROOF. As well as performances, live broadcasts, and new content, the group finally made their return to music for the first time in over two years.
Although the performances themselves are exciting, one thing that netizens always look forward to is the ending fairies. Over the years, they have developed and changed with time and it has become a huge part of each performance.
Well, even though BTS has been away from music shows for a while, it seems like they haven’t lost touch with the perfect way to do an ending fairy. In fact, they seem to be embracing it and reacting to their roles in very different ways.
On June 17 (KST), the group returned to Music Bank to perform their title track “Yet To Come (The Most Beautiful Moment),” and another track from their album “For Youth.” As expected, they slayed every minute with their talent, visuals, and charisma.
At the end of the show, the group cemented their dominance by winning that week… by beating themselves. They also decided that, in front of all their fans, they were going to do an “Ending Fairy Competition” when they wanted to show off their “Ending expressions.”
Oldest member Jin went first and he had no worries about going for a sexy pose and even giving a little kiss to ARMYs…
Suga stook to what he loved doing the most, as shown by the previous day’s performance, and went for an over-the-top moment, where he seemed to be exaggerating his breathing.
Leader RM seemed more hesitant as he stayed safe with his pose, before adding, “Ah, I’m breaking into a cold sweat.” Yet, V came back with the confidence everyone expected, even explaining that he needed to go to the front of the stage to do it. It was worth the wait as it combined cute, sexy, and everything in the middle.
Of course, Jimin couldn’t be beaten by V and took himself to the front of the stage. Well, it’s almost impossible to even describe his ending pose in a way that isn’t just purely iconic.
According to Jin, J-Hope was the “master” of ending fairies, and it isn’t surprising considering how he probably managed to send the entire arena into meltdown with his charm.
Jungkook was the final member and as the youngest, he definitely has some pressure to deliver with an iconic ending fairy. He definitely didn’t disappoint as he dialed the sexiness of his pose to 11000% and unsurprisingly sent the audience into meltdown.
As expected, each of the members’ personalities was represented through their ending fairies, whether it was RM being shy, J-Hope dazzling with his visuals, or maknae line being dramatic AF. With one more show to go, it will be interesting to see the lengths BTS go to ensure they will go down in “Ending Fairy” history.
