BTS’s New “Dalmajung” Photos Go Viral, But Not For The Reason You’d Expect
BTS recently announced that they’d continue their Dalmajung merch collection in 2022, releasing four stunning video teasers and photos of members RM, Jin, J-Hope, and Suga ahead of the official merch line reveal on September 6.
In the concept photos, the members wear hanbok in the moonlight. The teaser images show that the merch style will draw on traditional Korean designs and clothing just as they did last year.
The ethereal visuals from the members weren’t the only thing that caught ARMY’s attention.
Unsurprisingly the release of the teasers began to trend on Twitter, but it ended up being for a surprising yet hilariously related reason.
The unsuspecting hashtag “#FOR FREE” was trending, and as fans clicked on it, they realized it was for BTS.
Some fans expected the “for free” to be a way to express gratitude for getting quality content from BTS for free, such as the Dalmajung concept photos. In a way, it was, but the hashtag was specifically celebrating the fact that BTS’s RM and Suga were barefoot in their photos.
Even fans hilariously admitted that although clicking on the vague hashtag was a wildcard, it still wasn’t what they expected.

ARMYs emphasized that BTS could “make millions” selling pictures of their feet but provided that quality content to fans for free.
