On March 8, ARMYs were ecstatic after the director of the Seoul shows Ha Jung Jae shared some spoilers with the media.

As it’s the first show in front of fans in Korea since before the pandemic, Ha Jung Jae shared that the group’s priority was to focus on the fans. For this, the production has created large LED screens which are the biggest that has ever been used.

For these concerts, we thought it would be most important for the artist to be able to look into the fans’ eyes while singing, and take a closer step to the fans.

More importantly, the article shared the ins and outs of picking the setlist and choosing songs for the shows.

Ha Jung Jae shared that the process of picking songs was much different from previous times. The setlists were focused on the albums released in the past, but this time, anything was possible.

We put all of BTS’s songs on the table – songs they’ve never performed publicly before, songs the members want to perform for the fans, songs fans may want to see, and more, and discussed it with the members.

If that wasn’t enough, it seems like so much thought is being put into the shows that there will actually be different setlists for each of the shows. In particular, they will be very different from those performed during the LA shows in December.

The Seoul concerts include newly prepared songs that were not performed at the past LA concerts. For these 3 PTD IN SEOUL concerts, BTS will meet fans with a richer repertoire by changing the setlist for each concert.

Although there weren’t many details on what specific songs fans could expect, aside from those heard by ARMYs during rehearsals, Ha Jung Jae shared that BTS picked two particular songs because of the canceled shows in 2020, and they are two classics!

The members picked ‘ON’ and ‘Black Swan’ as the songs to compensate & soothe fans due to the cancelation of the concerts due to Covid-19 back in 2020.
