BTS’s RM Becomes The Youngest Most Credited Korean Artist According To KOMCA
According to KOMCA (Korea Music Copyright Association), BTS‘s RM has now become both the second most credited Korean artist and the youngest.
As of July 15, 2021, KOMCA’s top most credited artist is VIXX‘s Ravi, with 197 credits. He is followed by PSY and RM, both with 176 credits, then BIGBANG‘s G-Dragon with 174.
Previously, RM was considered the third most credited artist. Now that BTS’s recent release, their hit song “Butter,” he been re-added, he is tied with PSY for second-most credited Korean artist. In KOMCA, RM has a total of 176 song credits under his name after songs such as TXT‘s “0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You)” featuring pH-1, Woodie Gochild, and Seori has been added.
On social media, ARMYs are congratulating RM on his latest achievement. As a result, #RM176KOMCA has trended on Twitter with over 126,000 tweets.
