BTS’s RM And Jimin Channel Their Inner “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” When It Comes To Helping Jin
The newest K-Drama Extraordinary Attorney Woo has taken the world by storm, warming the hearts of netizens with its important storylines and loveable characters. Following the story of the first autistic Korean attorney Woo Young Woo (Park Eun Bin), netizens go on a journey following her struggles, triumphs, and falling in love with Lee Jun Ho (Kang Tae Oh).
Well, it seems like it isn’t just netizens who are falling in love with the show but also idols. In particular, two members of BTS recently showcased their love for the show, and it’s none other than RM and Jimin.
Of course, when it comes to the K-Drama, one of the most iconic parts of Extraordinary Attorney Woo is the greeting between main character Woo Young Woo and her best friend, Dong Geu Rami. The two say each other’s names in a rhythm before dabbing, and it’s become one of the hottest crazes in K-Pop.
BTS recently released some behind-the-scenes footage from member J-Hope‘s listening party. During the video, oldest member Jin shared his concerns about attending the party, and J-Hope had to assure him that he didn’t have to stay and interact with everyone.
Even after J-Hope left and the party started, the members couldn’t hide their nervousness about the event.
In particular, Jin looked to leader RM for some advice as he asked, “Namjoon, how do I say hi to celebrities?”
RM then hilariously walked up to Jin and did his own version of the Extraordinary Attorney Woo greeting. Rather than saying “Woo to the Young to the Woo,” he replaced it with “Bang to the Tan to the Jin.”
Jimin then excitedly joined the party and did the next part of the greeting, replying, “Dong to the Geu to the Rami,” before doing the hand movements with RM. Even Jin cutely joined in on the final dab.
When the clip was released, netizens couldn’t get over how cute the moment was, with the phrase “Bang to the Tan to the Jin” trending worldwide. For many, it was just adorable and showcased the members’ love for the K-Drama.

Yet, it isn’t the first time BTS has shown love for the show. When RM was speaking to fans on Weverse, he shared that he was watching the series and how much fun it was. Even when he was asked what he was doing that weekend, he replied with a well-known phrase.
For any Extraordinary Attorney Woo fan, they know the words are used in Woo Young Woo’s greeting whenever she meets someone new.
For many people, both the K-Drama Extraordinary Attorney Woo and BTS give them comfort. To see those worlds collide is definitely cool and it’s adorable to see the members acting out the iconic scene from the K-Drama.
