BTS’s RM Is Being Praised By ARMYs Because Of His Consideration For International Fans — Here’s The Heartwarming Reason Why
Since debuting, BTS has always been praised for the way they’ve treated their fans, known as ARMYs. Although it seems like a given that whenever the members do anything, they always think about the fans, leader RM has recently gained attention for his thoughtfulness towards global fans.
On December 3, RM became the next member to announce his self-designed merchandise. As expected, it was absolutely adorable, including sweat pants and also a beautifully designed windchime.
There was a bit of confusion to start as RM tried to figure out whether he wanted to change the name or not. That was until he realized that the details had already been finalized.
That didn’t stop RM from going on social media to ask ARMYs for some help picking between two options. He posted the question on Instagram in Korean with the two options to choose from…
Yet, what really gained attention was what RM posted afterward. He then shared the same poll but with the caption, “for foreigners…” with the options translated into English.
Although RM is fluent in English and might not have seemed like much effort to do, it meant a lot for fans, and they quickly went on social media to share how touched they felt about the gesture.
Yet, it isn’t the first time ARMYs have praised RM for ensuring that fans from across the world feel included whenever he posts something. Whether it is on Instagram, Twitter, or Weverse, RM has always made sure to find a way to keep international fans informed.
From giving them more context about the design of the wind chime…
To giving recommendations for when they travel to Korea…
Or even just random captions and updates, RM always ensures that he can make it as easy as possible for fans to understand.
More recently, the other members have showcased the same consideration even though they are not as fluent in English compared to RM.
In particular, J-Hope recently shared a post on Instagram to welcome the new year, which almost broke the internet.
In the post, he shared images from throughout the year and also a message looking back at 2021 and what he wants to achieve in 2022. However, fans noticed that he wrote the message in both Korean and English.
V also showcased his English skills on social media after sharing a series of images from his holiday and captioning them all in English.

Even though English is an extremely difficult language, idols are showcasing just how much they appreciate all fans by finding ways to communicate with everyone. It cannot be easy and it isn’t surprising that ARMYs and other netizens have nothing but admiration and appreciation for them.
