BTS’s RM Spills On The Time He And V Almost Got In Trouble As Trainees During A Recent “Run BTS!” Episode
When it comes to BTS, they are definitely one of the biggest acts in the world. The group had humble beginnings at BigHit Entertainment, but their popularity has grown worldwide. It has meant that they’ve become global ambassadors for K-Pop and brand representatives for HYBE.
After achieving so much fame and bringing success to HYBE, it would be easy to think that BTS has always been the “Golden Children.”
However, that couldn’t be further from the case. Recently, RM spilled on a hilarious moment he and fellow member V were scolded as trainees.
During the recent episode of Run BTS!, the members continued their “Telepathy” mission in the recent episode. They had to pick places to match with keywords. In the second round, the word was “sulking.”
When the first keyword was announced, the members hilariously started spilling on some of the arguments they had had with each other. BTS was ready to spill all the tea on their past incidents, including bananas, dumplings, and games.
When it came to RM, rather than focusing on times he had been sulky with the members, he reminisced about a memorable time when he and V almost got scolded by staff.
On the way to their location, RM and Jimin made a nostalgic tour through the neighborhood they used to live in. RM remembered how the members would always walk down a specific road.
In particular, RM explained that there was one point on the road that brought back memories because it was the place where he and V were once scolded for eating ice cream.
Although it was a long time ago, RM vividly remembered the small details and recalled them to both Jimin and ARMYs watching. He explained that they had been eating ice cream and had to try and hide when they were caught by staff. RM went to great lengths not to get caught, and it was hilarious AF!
I got caught at this point. I did. So, I put the ice cream cone into my pocket. The staff asked, ‘Where are you going?’ So we answered, ‘We are going back to the dorm.’

As young trainees, RM revealed that even though they were going to get into trouble, he had huge satisfaction and made sure to make the most of the ice cream… even if it melted.

Trainees are always subject to strict rules and dietary controls, so it wasn’t surprising that RM and V went to extreme lengths to ensure that they weren’t caught but also that they could enjoy their treat.
Yet, although RM explained that he put the ice cream in his pocket, in an episode of You Quiz On The Block, V revealed he had the same idea, and they hadn’t even thought of it beforehand.
The life of a trainee is never easy, but the fact that BTS can look back at moments like that as fond memories shows how vital it was for their growth.
