RM discussed how BTS has not been able to perform in Korea (with all COVID-19 regulations lifted, including banned audience cheers) in three years.

Hi. We wrapped up our night-before rehearsal just now.

Tomorrow is finally the Busan concert that we’ve all been waiting for. There are not even 24 hours remaining…
For three years, we’ve been unable to host a concert-like concert with a whole live audience cheering. So, while this concert isn’t only for [BTS], and there may be moments that aren’t as perfect as I’d like, I’m happy to be able to have fun in Busan, a city that’s like home to my heart.

He also shared how the large-scale concert lasts only one day so he and the rest of BTS plan on putting their all into the sole performance.

Since this is a one-day concert, we’ll probably be pouring our bodies and hearts into the performances. This is actually the first time in a decade that we’re putting together a “standing concert” of this size. From the get-go, with the location and the vibe of the event in mind, we planned our performances to feel more like a celebration or a festival (though there were a lot of ups and downs).

Additionally, fans can expect some rare throwback songs that are unlikely to be performed live again.

To the setlist, we’ve added some songs that we don’t normally add, and this might be the last time we actually perform them live. And since we haven’t been to a concert like this before, and since we haven’t had any concerts in a while, we would truly appreciate it if the audience would enjoy it like a rock festival or a DJ festival—with everyone singing along with their hands up in the air from the beginning to the end. I believe that’s the vibe that we’re intending to create, after all.

He concluded the letter with some humble remarks and urged the fans to cheer excitedly at the show.

Anyway, to come back to the point, there may be parts that are lacking. But since BTS is all about performing live, you know we’ll be giving it our best as we always do. So please have a lot of fun with us, and let us hear your voices, too! See you tomorrow, hehe.
