BTS Fans Slam “Insane” Shipping Prices For “Season’s Greetings 2022”
Each year, fans look forward to BTS‘s annual Season’s Greetings package, but some are thinking twice about adding the latest addition to their collections.
The reason? Exorbitant shipping prices. At Big Hit Music‘s 2020 corporate briefing, the agency pledged to improve its overseas distribution and lower shipping costs.
Unfortunately, the Weverse Shop‘s shipping prices are still sky-high, if not higher in 2021. For some customers, the price of shipping surpassed the price of the product itself. Now, fans are sharing screenshots of their totals and reaching out to the Weverse Shop for answers.
The cost of delivery is getting higher every time. It's not normal. I have money for the product, but I'm not going to pay that amount for its delivery. I am ready to write petitions in HYBE. pic.twitter.com/bF4YPr4T1b

$53 for shipping @weverseshop are you serious? At this point I would like to know what justifies these shipping costs and why there is still no Weverse Shop for Europe.
I really wanted to buy the 2022 Season's Greetings but this is insane. pic.twitter.com/1jtNRC3K8B— 🐋🐙💜Caro⁷ ⟭⟬ ⟬⟭ ∞🌸 (@eternal_OT7) November 2, 2021
the shipping’s more expensive than the season’s greetings itself,,,, pic.twitter.com/sB1SCgSSjM

Both high shipping prices and delivery issues are deterring fans from dipping into their wallets this time. Instead, some are opting to save up for a BTS concert instead.
What's so special, @weverseshop, is that it wouldn't even ship to me until 3/4 of 2022 was OVER, if I ordered from the US store. Or I could spend approx. $35 dollars in shipping to order from the Global store. Neither of which are viable options. Guess I have to pass……😭 https://t.co/3ydQ9L8WAv

Shipping fee is more than the item 😑
I'll save up for concert. pic.twitter.com/dJpiKLmE9S— Natalja⁷ (@KolpNata) November 2, 2021
Perhaps, this fan said it best!
