BTS V’s “Singularity” Tops Billboard World Digital Song Sales Chart, Sets Record For K-Pop Solo Artists
For the third anniversary of BTS‘ “Singularity,” ARMYs made it top the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart!
The song, which was part of their 2018 album, Love Yourself: Tear, is member V‘s solo track.
For its third anniversary on May 7, fans came together to chart the song as a celebration!
When the song was released, it ranked 3rd on the chart, and was also the only song by a K-Pop soloist to be included in the annual best songs lists of the year by the New York Times, the Guardian and the Los Angeles Times.
“Singularity” is currently reining iTunes charts in 47 different regions and is the 28th BTS song to top the World Digital Song Sales chart.
V is now also the only K-Pop artist to achieve two No. 1 solo songs on the chart, with his song “Inner Child” having topped the chart in March!
Happy birthday, “Singularity,” and congrats, V!
