“HYBE Only Knows Money” — Netizens Angered By Ridiculous Prices For BTS Suga’s Online Concert Streaming Tickets
BTS Suga‘s “Agust D Tour” concert in Seoul will be held both in-person and online, however, the price range of streaming tickets is receiving backlash online.
The concerts will take place over two days on June 24th and 25th and offer a variety of ticketing options, including HD multi-view and 4K single view for members and HD single-view for non-members.
The price for a two-day pass to stream both concerts is 110,000 KRW ($84.49 USD) and a one-day pass is 59,400 KRW ($45.62 USD).
These high price are comparable to offline concert tickets, angering netizens.
- “Wow, crazy. isn’t that the price of an offline performance?”
- “What’s HYBE’s problem;; Crazy people”
- “HYBE are careless bastards..”
- “HYBE only knows money”
- “110,000 KRW for a video? Who the hell will watch it?”
Additionally, members and non-members pay the same price for different types of tickets, showing the membership’s only benefit in this case is to have access to a better ticket. It’s also important to note that you may only watch the concert during the livestream or single additional delayed viewing that takes place the following week and you do not own the video to watch again.
Would you pay as much money for an online concert as an in-person concert?
