On August 9, it was reported that Suga’s blood level alcohol was 8 times the limit the legal limit.

According to an exclusive report from Donga Ilbo, the Yongsan Police Station measured Suga’s blood alcohol content at 0.227% when they checked on him following his fall from a seated scooter. However, Suga had initially testified that he only had one glass of beer. Previously, it was reported that Suga’s blood alcohol exceeded 0.08%, but the exact percentage was not disclosed.
More alarming is the fact that Suga’s blood alcohol level, which was reported to be 0.227%, means that the idol is facing 2-5 years in prison or a fine that’s between ₩10.0 million KRW (about $7,290 USD) and ₩20.0 million KRW (about $14,600 USD).
