BTS’s Suga Sends A Heartwarming Video Message To ARMY After “Permission to Dance” Debuts At #1 On Billboard Hot 100
On July 19, Billboard announced that BTS’s new single had scored the No.1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, dethroning “Butter.” After hearing the announcement, the members all took to social media and celebrated the achievement with ARMYs.
Although Suga also went onto Weverse to share his excitement, he recently posted a video on the BANGTANTV YouTube channel to share how he felt after hearing the news for the first time.
I couldn’t sleep and was really happy. I never thought we would achieve such a result. I did hope for it, but I didn’t expect it, so seeing this is a great result.
— Suga
He also explained how he made this vlog because he wanted to thank ARMY for all their support.
After ‘Butter’ and now ‘Permission to Dance,’ thanks to all the love and interest from ARMY, ‘Permission to Dance’ was able to take number one again.

As expected, Suga pointed out that he was still a bit dazed by the news and that it does come with some pressure. However, he added that the group is going to try their very best as always waiting for the day they can meet ARMY in person.
I believe the day we can meet ARMY in person again is drawing near. I hope that day comes as soon as possible.

Suga ends the video by thanking fans again, and it is the sweetest thing ever! As much as the members like to thank their fans, ARMY will always thank BTS for everything they have done and will continue to do. You can watch the whole video below.
