BTS’s Humble King Suga Casually Tells J-Hope He Won A Writing Competition As A Child
Every ARMY knows that BTS’s Suga is a genius songwriter and producer, but did you know that he won a prize at a writing competition as a child?
On the latest episode of BTS In the SOOP 2, Suga and J-Hope ate breakfast together. They made yeolmu naengmyeon (buckwheat noodles with young radish kimchi) for breakfast.
The two rappers thoroughly enjoyed their breakfast!
The yeolmu naengmyeon was so good that it reminded Suga of just how much he liked eating the dish as a child. He told J-Hope that he used to enjoy eating it at a festival in his hometown.
There was a market at the festival, and one of the sellers sold store-bought naengmyeon. Suga remembered buying naengmyeon at the festival’s market and eating it there.
Of course, the festivals had more to offer than just yummy food! Suga told J-Hope that people from all the nearby neighborhoods came together to have fun, and celebrities even came to perform at the festival.
The festival also had a writing contest for elementary school students. As he and J-Hope ate their breakfast, Suga casually mentioned that he had won a prize at the contest.
Considering Suga has hundreds of songwriting credits, ARMYs weren’t surprised that he won a writing contest when he was younger!
Yoongi telling Hobi about the town festivals he went as a kid and how he won a writing contest and enjoyed the food. My heart got so soft.#Sope #InTheSoop2ep4 pic.twitter.com/RjUDRtMxNq
