BTS’s Suga Makes Generous Donation To Help His Hometown Of Daegu Combat The Coronavirus
BTS‘s Suga has made a generous donation to his hometown of Daegu in order to help fight against the COVID-19.
On February 27, it was reported that Suga donated 100 million KRW (apprx. $82,550 USD) to the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association to help the city fight back against the coronavirus.
According to the organization, Suga remarked,
I wanted to contribute to help with the difficulties of my hometown, even if it’s just a little.

His contribution will be used to assist those suffering by the spread of the COVID-19, and will also help support the city of Daegu. Suga was born and raised in Daegu, and has worked with many charities alongside his group members to give their assistance many times before.
Suga is among multiple other celebrities who donated as well, including ASTRO‘s Cha Eunwoo, Girl’s Day‘s Hyeri and actress Son Ye Jin.
