BTS’s Suga Makes Generous Donation To Support Children With Cancer In Celebration Of His Birthday
For his birthday, BTS‘s Suga has donated 100 million won ($88k) to Keimyung University Dongsan Hospital in Daegu. The money will be used to help children with cancer who are unable to receive proper treatment.
Speaking about the donation, Suga explained, “I hope this donation will help children who are not receiving treatment due to difficult family circumstances so that they can grow healthy and bright.”
Keimyung University Dongsan Hospital director said he was extremely grateful for the donation, hoping that their good influence will spread through the community.
In the past, Suga donated Korean beef to 39 orphanages in 2018, and last year, he donated 100 million Won and 329 dolls under their fan’s name on his birthday.
It is also not the first time a BTS member has used their birthday to give to charity. Last month, J-Hope donated ₩150 million ($135,657) to support children with disabilities.
