BTS’s Suga And RM Reveal How The Group Has Tried To Make The Most Of The Pandemic
The COVID-19 pandemic has changed how the world works in so many ways, and K-Pop is no different. Yet, even during such hard times, people have found ways to make the most of the circumstances. The same applies to BTS!
BTS recently sat down with Z100 New York and discussed how the group has managed to grow during the pandemic and make the most of a bad situation.
The first thing Suga pointed out was that if it weren’t for the pandemic, there would be no “Dynamite” and BE.
If there was no pandemic, we would not have had ‘Dynamite’ or BE. That is for sure because we would have been on tour.

He also pointed out that it was their ability to make the best out of a bad situation that helped them get through such challenging times.
I think we were able to have good results because we tried to do our best in the worst situation. We worked together a lot more than we used to, so that’s how BE was made and released.
— Suga
Suga also explained that the group had more time together because of the pandemic, and this was something RM agreed with.
We had a lot of time to actually chat, talk, and debate the future and the past. We spent time together, just the seven of us, to talk about everything. This time has given us the chance to freeze the moment and think deeply about BTS in 2021.
— RM
Despite everything going on, it is great to see that the pandemic has given BTS some time to hang out as friends.
