“Right In The Feels” — 9 Past Song References BTS Makes In “Take Two” That Only ARMYs Understand
BTS recently released “Take Two” to celebrate their 10th anniversary since debut. The song is full of references to past songs and concepts that only the most dedicated ARMYs will understand! Check out all of the hidden references below.
1. “Stay”
The song opens with a callback to “Stay” from BE, which was also Jungkook‘s teaser keyword for the song.
2. “Butterfly”
The sentimental chorus of “Butterfly” calls out to stop time in fear of losing someone: “Will you stop time, If this moment passes, As though it hadn’t happened, I’m scared scared scared I’ll lose you.”
3. “Love Maze”
BTS brings back the concept of having each other even in the dark, just like in “Love Maze,” that says, “Hardships will try to deceive us but just focus on me then, In the darkness, just the two of us is enough.”
4. “Young Forever” / “Road/Path”
They continue to use “Young Forever,” a prominent song in BTS’s history and connection to ARMY. Additionally, the “road” they discuss can also be considered a reference to “Road/Path.”
5. “Sea”
J-Hope shouts out BTS’s hidden track “Sea” using a fan-favorite metaphor of the desert becoming an ocean. This concept was also was used for the Wings Tour Finale Concert in Seoul fan slogan event.

The lonely whale mentioned in “Whalien 52” is no longer lonely as ARMY and BTS have met each other.
7. “Love Maze”
