BTS has a new Billboard Chart record to add to their list!
This week, BTS’s “Butter” is leading Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart after jumping 50+ spots to take No.1. Now, thanks to “Butter,” BTS has spent a total of 46 weeks on the Digital Song Sales chart, breaking a tie with the former record holder…
…Taylor Swift! With over 23 No.1 songs, this best-selling singer holds the most Billboard No.1s overall, followed by Rihanna (14). With 9 No.1s, BTS is currently tied with Beyoncé and Bruno Mars. “Dynamite,” “Butter,” “Permission to Dance,” “Life Goes On,” “ON,” “Fake Love,” “Film Out,” “IDOL” (feat. Nicki Minaj), and “My Universe” with Coldplay have all reached No.1 on the Billboard Charts.
In addition to these wins, BTS is also the record holder for charting the longest at No.1 on the Digital Song Sales chart: 18 weeks for both “Dynamite” and “Butter.”
Congrats, BTS!
