BTS Ticket Prices Are Insane — Is Ticketmaster Breaking Its Own Rules?
BTS fans have been priced out of the competition to score PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE tickets, and many are blaming Ticketmaster.
Back in August, HYBE officially canceled BTS’s 2020 MAP OF THE SOUL world tour, which had been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A month later, PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE was announced. BTS will perform at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California on November 27-28 and December 1-2.
Thousands of fans, especially those who had purchased tickets for the world tour, had hoped to attend PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE. Unfortunately, between technical difficulties and bulk purchases allegedly made by scalpers, some fans were unable to make their dream a reality.
Due to overwhelming past purchaser & Verified Fan presale demand for BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LA, all shows are sold out & tickets are not available for the public onsale.

Some MAP OF THE SOUL ticketholders, who had received special codes from Ticketmaster, say those codes were faulty and that tickets were withheld.
What was the point of Ticketmaster giving mots ticket holders a unique hold if 1.) the code didn’t even work and 2.) they held all the tickets from us

I gave up 😭😭, I was more than an hour like this, the code didn't work or something happened, anyway there were no tickets on the floor anymore. For the ones still in line, fix it…#Ticketmaster #btsconcertLA pic.twitter.com/KOsEx83z2U

Now, ARMY is calling attention to astronomical resale prices. The lowest verified resale prices for “nosebleed” seats are currently $400+ USD…
…while A Section seats are being listed for thousands of dollars. The lowest original price for a PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE ticket was $60 USD.
Some fans claim that Ticketmaster is allowing scalpers to operate and may be in violation of their own terms and conditions, regarding resale prices.
It’s literally in the terms and conditions of the Bts tickets that you can’t resell for more than face value unless you have written consent????? So @Ticketmaster @TMFanSupport did you give all of these scalpers written permission to charge fans $700+ for tickets that were $60?? pic.twitter.com/cmR33GtxYj

The Terms & Conditions state that a ticket, “may not be resold for an amount in excess of the face value of the ticket without the written consent of the issuer.” Fans who have tried to price their resale tickets at face value have been forced to price them higher.
I tried selling mine at face value for $75 but it wouldn’t let me go lower than $115 and when I checked on my laptop they listed them as $444. They are trying to secretly profit.

ARMYs are now reaching out to Ticketmaster’s fan support for answers, hoping that changes will be made and scalpers will be barred from ticket sales.
@Ticketmaster care to explain how these people have up to 4 tickets and are selling them at these OUTRAGEOUS prices. But y’all didn’t have any left for general sale? And why aren’t you revoking these scalpers tickets and refunding them? pic.twitter.com/LskY3Xs3Ha
