Trevor Noah Spills On What It Was Really Like Meeting BTS At The 2022 GRAMMYs
BTS stole the show when they attended the 2022 GRAMMYs in Las Vegas. Although they may not have won an award, their visuals, charisma, and stunning performance of the track “Butter” definitely gained the attention of everyone watching the event.
In particular, one person who definitely fell under the spell of the members was the South African comedian and host of the event, Trevor Noah. During the show, Trevor Noah sat down for a short chat with the boys, greeting them and asking how they were feeling, and even spoke to leader RM about how he learned English.
And they took an iconic picture that Trever Noah rightly couldn’t stop bragging about when it was shared on his social media.
At my funeral, please don’t use words. Just show this pic. Well, I mean, if you have other angles of this moment feel free to use those as well. 😁 #BTS #BestNightEver #GRAMMYs @bts_bighit @BTS_twt 🔥 📷: @GettyImages pic.twitter.com/gxXOGY0YhB

Although it has been a few weeks since the event, people still can’t stop talking about BTS at the event. Trever Noah hosts a show called The Daily Show, and like always, the social media account released footage where the comedian was chatting with the audience.
During the clip, one member of the audience had a question that was probably on everyone’s lips, and it was, “What was it like to talk to BTS?”
Before he started spilling the tea, the comedian spoke about enjoying moments a lot, it can sometimes lead people to “blackout.” Well, it seems as if he couldn’t stop praising the group, and Trever Noah shared what he loved about them.
You know, one thing I love about BTS is, like, they are, first of all, the nicest group of people you’ll ever meet.

Of course, Trevor then explained that people always say that when they meet celebrities, but this time it was different.
Sometimes people say, ‘Nice,’ but they lose the context. They’ll be like, ‘Oh, nice’ to other celebrities, nice to other- you know what I mean.
— Trevor Noah
The comedian then explained how it felt when watching the group perform at the event, and he couldn’t stop gushing about them and even seemed to praise them more than some classic boy groups.
They’re just nice in every interaction that they have with people and what they do. And they’re so good and efficient at what they do. Like they hit their marks. They’re learning their moves. They’re doing… but like, really precise, you know?

The comedian then explained how it felt personally when watching the group perform at the event, and he couldn’t stop gushing about them and even seemed to praise them more than some classic boy groups.
Like, I was watching them, and I’m not even trying to throw shade or anything, but I was like, man, NSYNC, they got away with s**t. I was just like, the moves that these kids are doing, and then you think of the boy bands I grew up with, and it was just like… I’m like damn.

As expected, BTS continues to make an impact on everyone that they meet and it seems like Trevor Noah has definitely become an ARMY.
